Nếu như Photoshop của Adobe nặng tới 214 MB và đòi hỏi máy tính mạnh, Photobie chỉ có 2,14 MB (nhẹ hơn 100 lần). Chương trình xử lý ảnh nhỏ gọn này tỏ ra không hề thua kém bậc đàn anh ở những chức năng cơ bản và còn có nhiều đặc điểm tiện dụng khác.
Giao diện của phần mềm hơi ngược với Photoshop là các công cụ nằm bên tay phải nhưng chỉ sau một thời gian ngắn, bạn sẽ thấy quen.

With Photobie, you can do pretty much what Photoshop can do such as resizing, rotating, fliping, adjusting brightness/gamma/transparency, doing select/copy/cut/paste any shaped portion of image, erasing/moving/adjusting layers, drawing/filling colored shapes as well as text, converting the image format and quality, saving current editing workspace with many layers to ".pob" file for future retouching. Furthurmore, with Photobie, you can capture any shaped area on the screen.
Requirements:
· .NET Framework 1.0 or higher
· Memory: 256MB or more are recommended for handling large image file editing.
What's New in This Release:
· Added the Feathering feature for Selection, Copy, Clone (selected region), Color Fill (for selected region), BucketFill. You can adjust the feathering mode (Gradient or Random) and feathering range. Keep in mind that the feathering adjustment is only available in the selection mode.
· Reorganized the Photoshop filters in Alphabetic order.
· Changed the BucketFill cursor with a clear hot spot.
