Scribus là một phần mềm xuất bản chuyên nghiệp, bao gồm các mẫu xuất bản và trình bày trang cổ điển và hiện đại. Với phần mềm này bạn có khả năng sáng tác bất kỳ ấn phẩm có thể tưởng tượng được, như các tờ bướm, tờ báo, tạp chí, v.v., ngay cả các cuốn sách!
Cùng một giao diện hiện đại và dễ sử dụng, Scribus bao gồm các chức năng chuyên nghiệp, như màu CMYK, tách biệt (separations) và quản lý màu ICC. Phần mềm cũng hỗ trợ phông OpenType Fonts và mã văn bản Unicode, kẻ cả kiểu viết từ phải sang trái như trong tiếng A-Rập và Do Thái.

Scribus 1.3.5.0 has a very nice graphical interface similar to the commercial versions and not more widely consumed too much memory. Nothing to do with other open source applications that are presented as "alternative" to a known payment. Whoever dominates QuarkXpress or InDesign can be done with his control in a very short time.
